Last month, we released Aircraft Checklist Pro for Microsoft Flight Simulator on PC. The feedback we have had has been amazing and we’re so thankful for your support.
One piece of feedback we received from the community was about whether Aircraft Checklist Pro would be coming to Xbox. At the time, we were unsure due to the files used in order to create the product. However, after rebuilding it from scratch, we are pleased to announce that Aircraft Checklist Pro will be coming to Xbox very soon!
The Xbox version of Aircraft Checklist Pro is fundamentally the same product. Each aircraft has a checklist which can be viewed directly from within the simulator. There are a few differences to help those on Xbox due to most users likely using an Xbox gamepad.
On Xbox, you will find that the search bar has been completely redone in order to better support the gamepad. It’s much bigger and a custom keyboard will pop-up, allowing you to easily search for the aircraft you’re looking for. Furthermore, the scroll bar can be controlled with the right stick or by pressing A and sliding it up or down. It’s small tweaks like this that make it easier for you to control when using Aircraft Checklist Pro on Xbox.
New Aircraft
In addition to providing compatibility for Xbox, we have taken some time to add five additional checklists for the following aircraft:
- Boeing 737NG
- Boeing 777
- Embraer 170/175
- ATR 72 400/600
- Bombardier CRJ Series
This means if you own aircraft from PMDG, Flight Sim Studio, Microsoft, Aerosoft or Captain Sim, you can now use our checklists to help you get flying. This is also just in time for when PMDG releases their 737 series on Xbox.
When?
Aircraft Checklist Pro version 1.1.0 will be released on May 25th via SoFly and OrbxDirect. This is for the PC version only and features the new aircraft listed above.
Aircraft Checklist Pro for Xbox (which will also be version 1.1.0 and feature all the aircraft, including the new ones) is currently with Microsoft for testing. Once it has been approved, it will be released via the in-sim Marketplace. We’ll be sure to let you know when this has happened.
